Everyone loves a party, especially at Christmas and Creating Adventures was determined lockdown was not going to prevent our annual get together. Weeks of planning went into the Let’s Sparkle Party and Jenny was keen as many people as possible got to join in. We reunited with 12 people from Warrington Community Living who had been at previous parties and made them Sparkle Boxes to enjoy. New member Sarah was also keen to zoom in for the fun but the only thing stopping her was access to an ipad. Luckily for Sarah quick thinking Jenny had put in a successful bid to the supportive Steve Morgan Foundation to buy some communal ipads just before lockdown because Jenny had realised that with Adult services closing down, activities were going to move on line. Just days before the party Jenny was able to deliver an ipad to allow Sarah to join in and become part of the Creating Adventures Christmas Community. Sarah will join us for more activities this year.
