Learning disabilities and Autism.
They’re not things we talk about as a society. We don’t have conversations about how these conditions affect people’s lives. We never consider the fact that changes need to be made so that people with additional needs feel valued, motivated and excited about life.
In reality many are faced with long days and limited social interaction making them feel alone and disengaged.
At Creating Adventures we see this as an opportunity to make an impact in their lives, providing a wide range of free and fully funded activities that bring a sense of joy, adventure and create a world of possibility.
Our mission is to enrich the lives of adults with Autism and learning disabilities through the provision of activities helping them to shine.
We believe that everyone has potential and that some people just need a little more support and encouragement than others. We have therefore developed a social club with various activities and opportunities to support our members and provide them with opportunities to achieve their potential, try something new, believe in themselves and find their inner talents which for some are just waiting to be discovered.
We have created a community with a variety of activities to support their communication, expression, confidence, life-skills, physical and mental health and wellbeing and helping them to feel a sense of personal fulfilment. But most importantly to encourage the members to try something new and possibly unlock potential in areas they never thought possible
