Our Activities

Our fully funded activities act as therapy, providing opportunities to socialise, develop communication and life skills and discover their inner talents.

Weekly Activities

Our timetable of weekly activities are exciting, social and creative whilst also acting as a tool to teach our members skills for living as independently as possible.

Our members are the most energetic, fun bunch, so it’s no surprise that performance is high on our agenda and as a result our members do so well that they love to perform at events to showcase their talents.

Our Vision

A safe space to talk, laugh, discover... A home away from home.

We are working towards a community centre where local people with autism and learning disabilities can meet with friends. We would love to open a cafe that they themselves help to run. This would be a wonderful, thriving hub for people with additional needs to feel supported and connected to others in their situation. Feeling a sense of belonging in life is vital for overall happiness and well-being.

We care deeply about the adults’ physical and mental well-being, and a centre would help us to cater to all their needs whilst also opening up opportunities for more activities. Another exciting project is our cookery masterclass and chocolate making, which will be in collaboration with Chocolate Gems.

Enriching Activities

Our focus is to provide a timetable of activities in an inclusive, caring, community focused environment to ensure that every individual feels valued and important.

Become a Member

We strive to inspire our members to try something new, ignite their potential and interest and finally illuminate them, helping them to shine from within.

Our Aims

We believe that everyone has potential and that some people just need a little more support and encouragement than others. We have therefore developed a social club with various activities and opportunities to support our members and provide them with opportunities to achieve their potential, try something new, believe in themselves and find their inner talents which for some are just waiting to be discovered.

We have created a community with a variety of activities to support their communication, expression, confidence, life-skills, physical and mental health and wellbeing and helping them to feel a sense of personal fulfilment. But most importantly to encourage the members to try something new and possibly unlock potential in areas they never thought possible.

Member of the Month

“Martin is nonverbal but can say a couple of words and contributes so much to our charity. He participates in many of our activities including the Beautiful Noise Choir and expresses his joy by movement and using his tambourine.

When attending our monthly Member’s Lounge discos, he always enjoys a cheeky pint of lager. You may also notice his wonderful dance moves in some of our existing videos.

Martin always has a smile on his face and we love seeing him taking part in our activities!”
