Mission Statement
At Creating Adventures, our mission is to empower adults with autism and learning disabilities to thrive through a diverse range of activities, holistic support and advocacy. We are a registered charity committed to nurturing mental well-being and fostering independence. Our comprehensive timetable of activities serves as a platform for individuals to discover their potential, acquire new skills, and cultivate confidence. Within our inclusive community, participants find not only opportunities for growth but also a supportive network of friends and dedicated staff who stand as a second family, offering solace in times of need and celebration in moments of triumph. Together, we create meaningful experiences, foster personal development, and champion the journey toward a fulfilling life.
Vision
Our vision for Creating Adventures is to create a home in Warrington which creates a sense of belonging for our members, to deliver our activities, celebrate our achievements and create new opportunities to help them flourish. This home will be a welcoming centre full of bright colours, a lovely garden area, rooms for our members to achieve their potential, a place where they can join our team and help run the centre, a community café offering good wholesome food to the community and a place to learn new life skills and also achieve accredited learning to prepare them for possible employment. But mainly a place to come together, feel a part of something special and flourish through the opportunities given and support of the team around them.Â

Creativity
Being presented with the opportunity to be creative can be extremely therapeutic and improve your mental wellbeing. Being creative doesn’t just mean through art, but expressing yourself through a number of ways including art, singing, dance, music, performance, gardening, cooking and many more ways. Being creative is good for the soul and can work wonders for your confidence.

Positivity breeds positivity and therefore creates a community which supports and encourages each other, regardless of ability or social circumstance. We truly believe that creating a community which works together as a family can help people to feel a sense of belonging and knowing that people are there for you can create a level of reassurance that can help us get through the tough times and celebrate the good times.

We love to believe that we are all capable of achieving what we want to achieve if we are given the right opportunity and the right amount of support and encouragement. Anything is possible when you are given these and have your friends around you.Â
