Royal Approval for Creating Adventures

Creating Adventures Founder Jenny Allcock is no stranger to recognition amongst royal circles after she was invited by HRH to join her at Windsor Castle to mark the centenary of the National Council for Voluntary Organisations.

Just 200 people were chosen for the occasion from Charities across the country. Jenny walked along the red carpet to meet the queen in her reception rooms and then went to St George’s Hall where there was an evening reception in one of the stunning rooms decorated with the coats of arms of every single Knight of the Garter.

Jenny also had the opportunity to speak with Princess Anne about the work Creating Adventures does with adults with autism and learning disabilities. Jenny explains “Princess Anne was very supportive and said to me that people don’t always think about the adults and generally it is children that get the support so I explained this is the exact reason the charity exists.’
