Throughout the last lockdown starting in January 2021 and as a result of funding received through the Local Connections Fund from the National Lottery we were able to deliver ‘Happy Boxes’ to our members full of goodies to help them get involved in our activities and to keep them focused during this next difficult lockdown. Each box contained fancy dress items, mindful colouring, party supplies, song sheets, treats and art materials such as a decopatch letter.
We asked each member to decorate their letter with their deco patch papers. The letters were collected back in and the results are phenomenal!
Supporter and friend of Creating Adventures and local photographer Andrew Collier of Andrew Collier Photography very kindly offered to volunteer his time and capture the letters to represent our members…big, bright, full of colour and beautiful. With thanks to Lymm Parish Council we were able to use Lymm Village Hall following Covid guidelines and capture images of not only the Creating Adventures letters but also other words which symbolise our community and the personality of the charity.
The results are absolutely amazing and we can’t thank Andrew enough for his support and time with this project. We are searching for a special place for Creating Adventures, somewhere we can call home and the letters will be used in this campaign to recruit support and funding to help us achieve our special place.
